This page explains how to delete your data on Shopstage. For what data we process, see the Privacy Policy.
1. Delete your account in the app
The easiest way to delete your account and all associated data is inside the app: sign in, go to Settings > Privacy and data, press the "Delete my account" button and confirm. Your request is recorded; your account and data are permanently deleted within 30 days at the latest, and we email you when it is complete. Before deleting, you can download a copy of your data from the same section.
2. Delete by email request
If you cannot sign in or have no access to the app, send an email titled "Data deletion request" from your account's email address to destek@shopstage.net. After verifying your identity, we complete your request within 30 days at the latest and let you know the result by email.
3. Remove through Facebook or Instagram
- On Facebook, open Settings > Apps and Websites (or Business Integrations).
- Select the Shopstage app from the list, press Remove, and ask for your data to be deleted.
- Meta automatically forwards the deletion request to our system (technically to
/api/integrations/meta/data-deletion). Your data received from Meta is deleted and you are given a confirmation code. - With your confirmation code, you can check the status of the request on the deletion status page.
4. Remove the Shopify or ikas app
When you uninstall the app from the Apps section of your Shopify admin, our access ends. Data belonging to your store is deleted on Shopify's shop/redact notification (about 48 hours after uninstalling). Customer data erasure requests are also handled through Shopify's customers/redact notification.
When you remove the ikas app from your ikas admin, the stored access tokens are deleted and the connection is closed. Imported product and order records remain in your account; to delete them, use method 1 or 2 above.
5. What is deleted and what is kept
- Deleted: account details, connected store and social account data and access tokens, generated content, assistant conversations, and data received from Meta and Shopify.
- Kept: invoice and payment records (10 years under the Tax Procedure Law) and security and access logs (for the legally required period). These are kept only for legal obligations.
- Copies in backups are deleted automatically within the backup cycle.
Deletion is completed within 30 days and cannot be undone.
